Going away? Your pets don't have to.
We're three sisters who stay right in your home while you're on vacation, caring for your dogs, cats, and the house itself. Your pets keep their own beds, their own routines, and their own backyard, and you come home to a house that was lived in and looked after.
What we do
One booking covers the pets and the house. No kennel runs, no drop-off deadlines, no strangers rotating through shifts.
Overnight dog sitting
We stay over at your home, so your dog's walks, meals, playtime, and bedtime routine carry on exactly as usual, in the place they feel safest.
Cat care
Feeding, fresh water, litter, medication if needed, and the right mix of attention and space. Cats stay in their own territory, which is how cats like it.
House sitting
Mail and packages brought in, plants watered, bins out on the right day, lights and curtains varied. Your home looks lived in, because it is.
Daily updates
Photos and a quick note every day, so you can actually relax on your trip. Longer stays and multi-pet homes are welcome, just ask.
Why some pets do better at home
Kennels are right for plenty of dogs. But if yours is older, anxious, on medication, or simply happiest on their own couch, staying home is a different experience.
A kennel stay
- A strange place, strange smells, strange dogs
- New routine, new feeding times, new people
- Shared air and shared germs with dozens of animals
- Your house sits empty the whole time you're gone
A Three Sisters stay
- Their own bed, their own yard, their own everything
- The routine they're used to, kept on schedule
- One-on-one care from a sitter they already met
- Your home lived in, aired out, and secure
The sisters are building a kennel of their very own on a 20-acre parcel, opening next fall — a proper dog paradise, with room to run and play until their hearts are content. In-home sitting will always be our specialty, but if your pet prefers a kennel holiday, you'll soon have that choice too, with the same sisters looking after them.
Meet the sisters
We're the Unguran sisters. Two of us work at dog and cat kennels here in the Edmonton area and have house-sat for families before. The third is our not-so-secret weapon on weekends and school breaks.
Mya Unguran
Works at a local dog and cat kennel, so feeding schedules, medications, nervous dogs, and picky cats are her everyday. Your first call for bookings and meet & greets.
Taya Unguran
Also on staff at a dog and cat kennel, with house-sitting experience of her own. Big-dog person, patient with shy rescues, and the one who sends the best photo updates.
Aliya Unguran
Our youngest sister is still in school, so she helps part-time: extra walks, play sessions, and backup on weekends and holidays when bookings overlap.

Reviews
We're brand new online, so this spot is waiting for its first reviews. If we've cared for your pets, yours could be the first, and it would mean the world to three sisters starting out.
Sat for you before we had a website?
Mya and Taya house-sat for families long before Three Sisters had a name. If that was you, a few words about it helps the next family trust us with their keys.
Every review is a real one
We only post reviews from families we've actually sat for. That's the deal, and it's why the first ones matter so much.
The Sisters' Shop
A few things we actually use and recommend, picked from kennel work and our own sits. The shop opens soon; sitters' clients can ask us to bring any of it along to a booking.
Pet first-aid kit
The compact kit we wish every pet home had: bandages, saline, tweezers, antiseptic, and a quick-reference card.
Opening soonPet travel kit
Collapsible bowls, a seat cover, waste bags, and a treat pouch. Everything for the dog who goes where you go.
Opening soonNatural dog treats
Simple-ingredient treats we trust with the dogs in our care. No mystery fillers, no upset stomachs.
Opening soonWelcome-home gift card
Booking a surprise sit for someone heading on a trip? A gift card toward any Three Sisters booking.
Opening soonBook a sitter
Fill this in and it lands as a text on Mya's phone, or just call one of us. Vacation dates fill up around holidays, so the earlier the better.
Prefer to talk?
Call or text either of us. If we miss you, we're probably out walking somebody's dog; we'll call right back.
Where we sit
Based in Sherwood Park and serving the Edmonton area, including St. Albert and Strathcona County. A little further out? Ask, we may be able to make it work.
What does it cost?
See our rates: one flat nightly price covers your pets and your house, confirmed in writing before you book. The meet & greet is free.
The fine print, up front
Every booking is covered by one simple page: rates, what's included, emergency vet care, cameras, all in plain language. No surprises for anyone.
Questions people ask
Do you really stay overnight in our home?
Yes, that's the whole idea. Your sitter stays at your house for the nights you're away, so your pets are never alone overnight and your home is occupied.
Can you give medications?
Yes. Mya and Taya both work at dog and cat kennels, where giving medication on schedule is part of the job. We'll go over your pet's routine together at the meet & greet.
What pets do you care for?
Dogs and cats are our main work. Other small pets in the home (fish, birds, bunnies) can usually be included in the same stay, just mention them when you book.
How far ahead should we book?
As soon as you know your dates, especially around Christmas, spring break, and summer long weekends. Short-notice trips are worth a call anyway; if one sister is booked, another may be free.
What do you need from us before a stay?
Feeding and medication instructions, your vet's number, an emergency contact, and any house notes (plants, mail, bins, alarms). The meet & greet covers all of it.
